Edgar S. McFadden Biostress Lab
Building Description
The McFadden Biostress Lab provides modern laboratory facilities for increased research of biological stress factors in the semi-arid Northern Great Plains.
The Northern Plains Biostress Lab was built using state and federal funds at a cost of $12.6 million in 1993. The name was officially changed to the Edgar S. McFadden Biostress Lab in October 2014. To read more about McFadden and his work with wheat as an SDSU student, visit McFadden.
