Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex

Building Description
The Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex is a multi-purpose indoor competition and training facility located just north of Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium.
The facility includes an eight-lane, 300-meter track and 100 yards of soy-based synthetic turf, along with space for sports medicine, athletic training, strength and conditioning, physical therapy, hydrotherapy, observation rooms and office facilities.
The project, which cost an estimated $32 million, was completed in fall 2014. To get a perspective of its size, the facility can hold 9.1 million bushels of corn or the Mount Rushmore monument.
Everything from track and field meets to The Pride of the à£à£Ö±²¥Ðãs Marching Band performances can be held in the S-JAC, which has bleachers, restroom facilities and concessions.
