Counseling and Human Resource Development

The Counseling and Human Resource Development programs provide high quality academic and clinical preparation through evidence-based curriculum designed to train critical thinkers. Our programs prepare individuals to work with diverse people in a range of settings, including mental health agencies, higher education institutions, private practice, schools (PreK-12), non-profits, hospitals and care facilities and other public institutions. We are one of the few public university programs in South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã that delivers at the main campus in Brookings, at the Rapid City campus and online. In addition to our programs, we have a number of field specialists across the state who provide another level of teaching and training to the citizens of South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about our programs, research or service.
