Biography
I have over 20 years of competitive speaking and coaching experience. As a speaker, I have three published orations and have since coached 23 published orations. My coaching experience spans from working with timid high school freshmen to high-ranking government officials. Before my university teaching position, I worked as a communications consultant for the federal government. Additionally, I have worked and volunteered on numerous political campaigns. Working with others to become better speakers is genuinely my passion.I recently earned my doctorate in adult and higher education. My research focuses on faculty workload equity, fairness and satisfaction. Additionally, I explore research related to the Introductory Communication Course and speech and debate activities.
I enjoy cooking, fashion, running and politics in my free time.
