Extension Responsibilities
  • Assist South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã food entrepreneurs by coordinating basic food testing and shelf-stability analysis, understand regulatory jurisdiction for foods other than canned and baked goods and assist with other marketing aspects regarding food safety and food labeling.
  • Work with various partners such as the South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã Department of Health, Food and Drug Administration to ensure that safety standards are in place at levels of the food system.
