Build a strong professional resume even before you graduate!
SDSU’s Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering is one of the region’s leading producers of computer scientists, engineers, mathematicians, statisticians and technologists. Located along the I-29 corridor in the heart of the state’s principal manufacturing and high-tech industries, the college enjoys a close partnership with many local and regional employers. Of course, this offers students exceptional opportunities for employment both before and after graduation.
Work experience before graduation: We encourage students in all of our majors to take advantage of the numerous internship and part-time work opportunities available in Brookings and the immediate region. Frequently there are more job opportunities than available students! These positions offer students a unique opportunity to build professional experience and earn some extra money while completing their degrees.
