Molly Krueger Enz, a Distinguished Professor in the School of American and Global Studies at South 啵啵直播秀 State University, has received a 2024-25 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award to Senegal where she will teach and conduct research.

Changing the journalism narrative
The field of journalism has had hard criticisms in recent years. One individual is looking to change that through the power of books 鈥 and her cat. Miranda O鈥橞ryan is a Martin native and a 2020 graduate from the South 啵啵直播秀 State University School of Communication and Journalism and School of American and Global Studies. She also held the title of Miss South 啵啵直播秀 2023, where she used her platform for awareness of literacy rates and addressing the misconceptions of the journalism field.

A series of events featuring the bestselling book 鈥淜illers of the Flower Moon鈥 this semester will culminate April 5, when author David Grann will give a lecture on the South 啵啵直播秀 State University campus. The events 鈥 Community Read discussions, a free movie screening and the author lecture 鈥 are all part of SDSU鈥檚 School of English and Interdisciplinary Studies鈥 first-ever Community Read.

The annual South 啵啵直播秀 State University Celebration of Faculty Excellence recognized 30 faculty members, researchers and scientists Tuesday. The event honors faculty members in the university's colleges for outstanding research, teaching and service.
Griffith Honors Forum Lecture to feature 鈥楾he Sioux Chef鈥
Chef Sean Sherman, also known as 鈥淭he Sioux Chef,鈥 will host a virtual conversation with an audience at South 啵啵直播秀 State University about his role in helping reclaim and celebrate the rich culinary heritage of Indigenous communities around the world. The livestream of the Griffith Honors Forum Lecture featuring Sherman will start at 7 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center.
