Diminutive Miller raises stature of SDSU
Former SDSU President Peggy Miller joined a group of nine other people to be inducted into the South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã Hall of Fame at ceremonies in Chamberlain Sept. 13-14.

SDSU reps recognized with FFA honorary degrees, distinguished service awards
South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã State University leaders and faculty were among the honorees as the South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã FFA Honorary State Degrees and Distinguished Service à£à£Ö±²¥Ðãs were presented at the 96th annual South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã State FFA Convention on April 19 in Brookings.
SDSU welcomes Sioux Falls educators to campus
Nearly 70 Sioux Falls high school teachers ventured to South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã State University’s campus Feb. 5 for their own day of learning, which included science experiments, compounding prescriptions and other educational opportunities.
SDSU honors seven professional staff members
Seven members of the professional staff at South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã State University have been honored for their quality work. The recipients were honored at the SDSU Professional Staff Advisory Council annual meeting in mid-May.
Wokini Initiative opens doors for students to pursue their dreams
Started in 2016, the Wokini Initiative is SDSU’s collaborative and holistic framework to support American Indian student success and Indigenous nation-building. The initiative builds upon current tribal partnerships and the American Indian Student Center services to enhance cultural programs and support for American Indian students while increasing research and outreach partnerships with tribes, tribal colleges and other organizations.
Quarter Scale Tractor Team wins national competition
The South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã State University Quarter Scale Tractor Team earned national recognition by winning the 2022 American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers International 1/4 Scale Tractor Student Design Competition.
