Young people with an interest in swine learned more about swine production and career opportunities at the second annual South 啵啵直播秀 Swine Summit on June 13, presented at South 啵啵直播秀 State University by SDSU Extension and the South 啵啵直播秀 Pork Producers Council.
The South 啵啵直播秀 Art Museum at South 啵啵直播秀 State University will celebrate the immersive exhibition of huge blown glass ears of corn, 鈥淧rimordial Shift: The Art of Michael Meilahn,鈥 with a free public reception and panel discussion from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 27.

The South 啵啵直播秀 Agricultural Experiment Station hosts research station tours for the public every summer. Each station, part of South 啵啵直播秀 State University and supporting programs in several colleges and SDSU Extension, will be the site of field days with guided tours and presentations showcasing research being conducted there. These tours are led by SDSU research and Extension staff.
The Child and Family Resource Network at South 啵啵直播秀 State University will hold four parenting classes throughout June to focus on helping parents discover what their children鈥檚 behaviors could mean.

South 啵啵直播秀 State University leaders, faculty, staff, students and supporters celebrated a Montana couple whose investment has endowed the McComish Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in the Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering. A $5 million gift from Richard 鈥淒ick鈥 and Karen McComish created the university鈥檚 first endowed and named department. The McComishes were honored at an April 26 naming ceremony and reception at Chicoine Architecture, Mathematics and Engineering Hall.
