Abstract
The Department of Mechanical Engineering is oriented toward applied problem solving; to conduct meaningful research which broadens the base of engineering and scientific knowledge with a regional emphasis; and to provide technology-based and related managerial assistance to existing and emerging businesses, industry and government. The collection is composed of a program from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers conference held at South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã State University in 1950 and invitations to banquets for retiring faculty members.
