Fraternity and Sorority Life

We. Are. FSL.

For over 50 years, Fraternity and Sorority Life at SDSU has been home to high achieving students and future leaders. Whether it be coordinating life-saving blood drives, supporting the Brookings community or dedicating time to the thriving agriculture community at SDSU, sorority and fraternity members consistently reflect their values in their actions and commitment to service while cultivating the bonds of friendship formed through brotherhood and sisterhood.

Home to nine men's and four women's fraternities, our community has a fit for any student interested in exploring fraternity and sorority life. From the classroom and major specific fraternities, to Students' Association and the arts, the interests of members are vast and ever expanding.

Joining Fraternity and Sorority Life at SDSU means becoming part of something that is bigger than yourself. A fraternal organization (fraternity for men and sorority for women) is a group of people with similar goals and values that all make a lifetime commitment to an organization. Each chapter was founded on ideals like mutual support, community service, scholarship, lifelong friendships and personal and professional development. During college, members grow and make the organization better while gaining valuable leadership and teamwork skills through holding chapter offices and planning chapter events. Their shared experiences build friendships that last a lifetime. Fraternity or sorority membership is a great way to make new friends, build personal and professional connections, get involved on campus and make a difference in your community.
