Biography

Aaron Hunt Ph.D., MPH, completed his MPH and Ph.D. in public health at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he specialized in environmental and global health. He is a researcher and lecturer with a background in HIV prevention, global health, nutrition, health education, behavior change and environmental health. He has experience working for HRSA and NIH funded HIV/AIDS prevention programs in both the United States and Nigeria. In addition, he has worked on environmental sampling and active surveillance projects for the Department of Homeland Security. His current research focuses on improving maternal child health outcomes and reducing health disparities through the use of mobile health technologies.
