Biography

My experience teaching in Higher Education began at Colorado State University teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). I lived and worked in Shanghai and Chengdu, China for three years. The highlight was being a TESOL instructor at Sichuan University, working in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. I returned to The United States to begin my master's studies and taught non-native language learners at the school district of Philadelphia's ESOL shelter school, Furness High School.

Course development and curriculum design became strong interests during my years of in-person instruction that informed my choice of a Master's program. This creative affinity led me to studying learning pedagogy, instructional design and educational technology at Pennsylvania State University. Now, I am grateful to be back home in South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã.
