Biography

Katelyn Romsa is Associate Professor of Counseling and Human Development at South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã State University (SDSU). Katelyn and her husband, Bryan, reside in Brookings with their four children Grace, John, Joe, and Jake. Prior to coming to SDSU, Katelyn was a faculty member at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where she received her doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision. Katelyn also has experience working in a college counseling center, as a recruitment and retention coordinator, and as a sophomore initiatives coordinator. 

Katelyn is Coordinator of the Administration of Student Affairs (M.Ed.) and College Counseling (M.S.) programs at SDSU. Katelyn publishes and presents on the following topics: student-faculty interactions as predictors of college student retention and satisfaction, factors affecting the college choice of NCAA student athletes, and supervision models to maximize graduate student success.
