We offer a Master's degree in geography and a Master's degree in Geography with a GISc specialization. Note that these two M.S. programs are both STEM programs (M.S. in geography CIP Code: 30.4401, geography and environmental studies; M.S. in geography (GIS specialization) CIP Code: 45.0702, geographic information science and cartography). The international students in these two programs can have three years of Optional Practical Training (OPT).
In addition, we also offer a new M.S. in professional science degree (Geographic Information Sciences Emphasis). This is a professional degree program.
Lastly, an interdisciplinary Ph.D. is offered with an emphasis in geography remote sensing or engineering remote sensing. Our Ph.D. program is also a STEM program.
