Administration
The Financial Program Assistant in the Library Administrative Office is the major point of contact for building repairs, employee payroll and personnel questions. The Chief University Librarian's office is also located in the Administrative area. Located near the elevator on the main level.

Archives and Special Collections
Archives contains the University Archives, the Senator Thomas A. Daschle Career Papers, the South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã Collection, as well as other material related to South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã history and life. These collections include manuscript and archival materials, books, serials, audiovisual materials, artifacts and photographs. The Archives also houses the library's digital initiatives and SDSU's open access institutional repository - Open PRAIRIE (Public Research Access Institutional Repository and Information Exchange). The Archives is located on the upper level.

Bindery
The Bindery is in charge of conserving and repairing library materials and binding journals. They are also responsible for binding master's theses and Ph.D. dissertations. Located on the main level.

Cataloging
Cataloging processes new materials (books, bound journals, audiovisual materials, etc.), creates catalog records for those items, assigns call numbers and barcodes and labels the items to prepare them for public use. Located on the main level.

Daschle Research Study
Housed within Archives and Special Collections, the Research Study provides in-house access to the papers and other collections of Thomas A. Daschle, former U.S. Senator from South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã. Located on the upper level.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and Document Delivery
The Interlibrary Loan (ILL) department obtains scanned articles and borrows books, DVDs and other materials from other libraries for SDSU students and faculty, both on- and off-campus. The ILL department also scans articles from Briggs Library journals and delivers them to students and faculty. Located on the main level.

Library Services Desk
This service consists of helping patrons locate library resources in the building and online, as well as processing loans and returns of library materials. The desk is staffed during all hours that the library is open. Located on the main level.
