All of the expertise outlined in the previous sections also forms the basis for training activities. In each case, the customer desires to be able to perform the same work using his or her own personnel rather than hiring the SDSU IP Lab. Training activities include multi-day workshops with the customer at SDSU and with SDSU personnel at the customer’s location. The SDSU IP Lab staff covers basic, general concepts and often customers desire more advanced training based on the type of satellite instrument(s) they are involved with, which the SDSU IP Lab staff can also provide.
