- Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) threaten South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã waterways, outcompete native species, and alter native ecosystems. SDSU Extension and South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã Game, Fish and Parks created a middle school curriculum and this video series to help improve compliance with AIS-related regulations and slow the spread of AIS.
- The Curriculum consists of 5 lesson plans accompanying videos.
- Project Leader: Alison Coulter, NRM Assistant Professor

- beefSD is an intensive educational program designed to take participants to the next level in beef enterprise management.
- Participation in the beefSD program is an excellent opportunity for producers to increase knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the beef industry - "from gate to plate" - and develop the skills needed to be successful beef business managers.

- Two day event every second full week in June for youth and adults: On the first day, students spend time in the field learning about rangelands and soils and practicing their contest skills. Student displays and speeches are presented in the evening.
- The land and homesite contest is open to youth 14-18.
- Rangeland has four age divisions: New Rangers (ages 8-10), Wranglers (11-13), Scouts (14-18) and Go Getters (14-18).
- The top Go Getter Range team and the top Land and Homesite team in the 4-H divisions represent South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã in the National Land and Range Judging Contest the following year in Oklahoma.
The mission of this program is to educate women across South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã about the importance of range management, while empowering them to become leaders in the agriculture industry.
