Harold W. McGraw, Jr. Prize in Education Winners Announced
The 2022 winners of the prestigious Harold W. McGraw, Jr. Prize in Education were announced today by the McGraw Family Foundation and the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education. Cheryl Logan, Barry Dunn and Roy Pea — three leaders in the field doing groundbreaking work in pre-K–12 classrooms, on university campuses and in learning science research, respectively — are being recognized for their extraordinary achievements. Each winner will receive an award of $50,000 and an iconic awards sculpture.
Bold and Blue builds momentum for SDSU’s premier land-grant status
Bold & Blue, the largest comprehensive capital campaign ever in the state of South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã, launched in October 2021. The campaign will raise $500 million and focus on people-centered initiatives, scholarships and faculty support. The campaign has a target amount of nearly twice the funds raised during the SDSU Foundation's previous campaign, It Starts with State.

Trump signs Ag Appropriations Bill with appropriation for funding to support American Indian students
President Donald Trump signed the 2020 Agriculture Appropriations Bill, Dec. 20, with a historic provision that will provide full funding to support American Indian students seeking the benefits of higher education at land-grant universities, which include tribal colleges. The bill passed both the House and the Senate prior to Trump signing.
