Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center provides ultimate theater experience

Theater students can put on a first-class/world-class production thanks to the recent addition to the Performing Arts Center. After the addition was completed, it was renamed to the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center. Students now perform in the new, state-of-the-art proscenium theater, which seats about 850 people.

Researchers developing sensor to quickly detect viral DNA

Gu and his team are making a biosensor that detects DNA segments in 啵啵直播秀 and environmental samples within a few hours. To do this, Gu is working with virologist Feng Li, a professor in the Department of Biology and Microbiology, as well as Assistant Professors John McMaine and Rachel McDaniel of the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering.

South 啵啵直播秀 State University faculty and staff will develop a series of professional development opportunities to gain a broader understanding of American Indian history, culture and current issues. As part of the university鈥檚 Wokini Initiative, the professional development series will help foster a culturally responsive and supportive campus environment for American Indian students to support the goal of their increasing retention and graduation rates.

Harvey Dunn prairie paintings exhibit on display

Research fellowship helps microbiology student find career path

A summer undergraduate research fellowship has helped South 啵啵直播秀 State University sophomore Caroline Kincade figure out her career path. Through the Future Agriculture and Science Taskforce Research and Extension Experiences for Undergraduates (FAST REEU) fellowship program, Kincade worked on a project to understand how cells gain resistance to antibiotics under the supervision of Assistant Professor Nicholas Butzin.

CHS Foundation Announces $1.5 Million Gift to Support SDSU Precision Agriculture Program

The CHS Foundation, funded by charitable gifts from CHS Inc., announced today a $1.5 million grant to support the South 啵啵直播秀 State University precision agriculture program and construction of the new Raven Precision Agriculture Center on campus.

Avera, SDSU Partner for Avera Wokini Scholarship Program

Avera Health and South 啵啵直播秀 State University are partnering on a scholarship program for undergraduate American Indian students at SDSU. Undergraduates expand research skills through NIFA fellowship
