The OMAA was one of the first resources that I used when I transferred to SDSU. They were able to help me not only make sure that I had accommodations in place so I could l succeed right away, but they introduced me to amazing people here who have become close friends of mine.

What are Our Goals?

  • Support students in their academic and personal success.
  • Implement and promote multicultural and educational programs.
  • Connect students to relevant resources.

What Can You Expect from the OMAA?

  • Accommodation services for students with identified disabilities
  • Student leadership opportunities
  • Programming focused on building cultural competencies, enhancing academic success and developing a sense of belonging
  • Study space, conference room and kitchenette for student use

Individuals with disabilities who would like to attend any of these events, please contact the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Accessibility at 605-688-5585 regarding any special accommodation needs. It is requested that individuals requiring auxiliary aids such as sign language interpreters and alternative format materials notify the event sponsor at least seven (7) working days in advance.
