Culturally Competent. Civically Engaged. Ready to Lead.

The School of American and Global Studies, also known as AGS, provides students with unparalleled opportunities to learn about and help solve the grand challenges of an ever-changing and interconnected world. Our students work and learn alongside award-winning faculty both in and out of the classroom. Through faculty-led study abroad programs and several research and outreach centers housed in the School, our students gain hands-on research and job skills that will advance their future careers or graduate studies. Our graduates are Rhodes scholars, Harvard law students and U.S. Department of State interns, just to name a few examples!
