Alpha Psi Omega (APO)
APO is a national honorary theatre organization. APO members annually produce CAPERS, which is a popular campus-wide variety show. APO participates in numerous fund raising and service activities. APO members regularly travel to New York City, where members attend workshops, tour Broadway facilities and attend Broadway performances.
Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF)
KCACTF is a national organization for theatre in higher education. SDSU is a regular participant in various programs that offer performance scholarship and special grant competitions. Our students have had great success. Some of them have been awarded opportunities to participate in the national festival.
United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT)
USITT is an organization dedicated to the professional development in technical aspects of Theatre. Students frequently attend USITT’s Annual Conference and Stage Exposition, where they participate in workshops and have opportunities to network with student peers and professionals.
