Welcome to the School of Psychology, Sociology and Rural Studies at South 啵啵直播秀 State University, home to distinguished researchers, students and teachers. Our school is committed to providing a supportive and dynamic teaching and research environment that equips and inspires faculty and students to learn, create and apply knowledge in psychology, sociology and rural studies.

Our school is staffed by over one-dozen faculty members who have diverse training and interests in psychological and sociological sciences. Students have the opportunity to work one-on-one with faculty members both inside and outside of the classroom. Our graduates are prepared for a wide array of careers in psychology, sociology, criminal justice, medicine, law and related areas.

South 啵啵直播秀 Census Data Center renamed

The South 啵啵直播秀 Census Data Center has been officially renamed the Center for Rural Vitality and Community Well-Being. The center, housed in the South 啵啵直播秀 State University School of Psychology, Sociology and Rural Studies, is launching a search for a rural sociologist in collaboration with SDSU Extension.

SDSU to host 鈥楰illers of the Flower Moon鈥 Community Read events

A series of events featuring the bestselling book 鈥淜illers of the Flower Moon鈥 this semester will culminate April 5, when author David Grann will give a lecture on the South 啵啵直播秀 State University campus. The events 鈥 Community Read discussions, a free movie screening and the author lecture 鈥 are all part of SDSU鈥檚 School of English and Interdisciplinary Studies鈥 first-ever Community Read.

SDSU faculty recognized for excellence

The annual South 啵啵直播秀 State University Celebration of Faculty Excellence recognized 30 faculty members, researchers and scientists Tuesday. The event honors faculty members in the university's colleges for outstanding research, teaching and service.
