Why did you choose SDSU to pursue your nursing degree: SDSU felt like a “home away from home”, it’s prestigious and competitive nursing program was something I wanted on my resume.

What clinical experience have you enjoyed the most and why: I have enjoyed my behavioral health rotation the most because I am very passionate about mental health and advocating for those who may be misunderstood.

Is there a particular field of nursing you are planning to pursue: I plan to pursue a career in psychiatric nursing, I believe this is a very important and fast growing field.

What advice would you share with a future nursing student: Don’t underestimate yourself! You are smarter than you think! You got this! Also, make some friends in your cohort, it makes studying bearable! Lastly, call your parents!
