The Opportunity Center Implementation Team was active throughout the 2022 spring semester. Goals of the implementation team were to:
- Consult on how to effectively implement action items from the Opportunity Center plan in a way that best supports SDSU students.
- Recommend strategies to communicate Opportunity Center information to the university community.
Implementation Team Members included:
- Dr. Jody Owen, Wintrode Student Success and Opportunity Center Director.
- Dr. Shelly Bayer, Director of Multicultural Affairs.
- Dr. Christi Garst-Santos, Director and Associate Professor, School of American and Global Studies.
- Dr. Erin Lavender-Stott, Assistant Professor, Human Development and Family Studies.
- Mike Lockrem, Director of University Marketing and Communications.
- Dr. Linde Murray, Tutoring and TRIO Programs Director.
- Dr. Kevin Sackreiter, Director, Center for Professional Enrichment and Teaching Excellence.
- Kyle Shapcott, Students’ Association Senator.
