Undergraduate admissions applications are generally processed within 24-48 hours. Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an email confirming the receipt of your application. An official letter of admissions will be sent approximately 2-3 weeks after your official admission to SDSU.

We have a wide variety of courses available online that you may take for professional development or just for fun. If you are just planning to take a course or two, we can help you with that and you can apply as a non-degree seeking student. (Not eligible for financial aid.)
If you are taking an undergraduate course (0##-4##) or a graduate course (5##-8##) be sure to follow the appropriate steps below.
Undergraduate Non-Degree Seeking (Courses numbered 0##-4##)
Application instructions:
- Create an SDSU Self Service Account.
- Verify email address.
- Under "Applicant Information," choose "Non-Degree Seeking" as student type.
- Under "Choose Major," choose 鈥淥nline鈥 as location of classes and 鈥淪pecial鈥 as planned major.
- Under "Charges and Additional Items," enter 鈥淣ONDEGREE鈥 in the discount code field and select 鈥淣on-Degree Applicant鈥 in the payment information field.
