The McComishes were honored at an April 26 naming ceremony and reception at Chicoine Architecture, Mathematics and Engineering Hall.

Tyler Wood, a 4.0 civil engineering major, has become the first South 啵啵直播秀 State University student to receive a graduate fellowship from the American Concrete Institute. The $10,000 award also includes an all-expenses paid trip to the next two American Concrete Institute national conventions into addition to the one he attended on March 23-27 in New Orleans as part of the application process. The award comes with no strings attached, said Wood, who graduates May 4.

Following a family history of answering the call to serve, Catie Natvig will be commissioned into the U.S. Army as a second lieutenant Friday, May 3. Sisters Carlee and Kimber Natvig are slated to commission and earn their bachelor鈥檚 degrees in 2025 and 2027, respectively.

The Mellon Foundation has awarded South 啵啵直播秀 State University a grant to help SDSU provide a pathway to higher education for previously incarcerated individuals looking for a better future. SDSU鈥檚 Post-Carceral Educational Opportunity Program will be funded by Mellon鈥檚 Higher Education in Prison Program with a three-year, $150,000 grant and led by Victor Taylor, SDSU vice provost for graduate education and extended studies.
