South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã State University's world-renowned Image Processing Lab was recognized by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration during the 2022 Robert H. Goddard à£à£Ö±²¥Ðãs, held earlier this year.

SDSU to celebrate Lincoln Hall reopening

SDSU’s Ness School of Management and Economics establishes Ness School Downtown

South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã State University’s Ness School of Management and Economics has established Ness School Downtown, an outpost located at Startup Sioux Falls, 100 E. Sixth St. Through a partnership with Startup, the Ness School will use the outpost to host speakers’ series, workshops and career fairs, facilitate career coaching and academic advising, and otherwise serve as a point of contact with stakeholders in the metro area.

The event, which offered the zoo’s youngest visitors lessons in water safety, sun protection and physical activity, served as pediatric clinical experience for the SDSU students.

SDSU engineering students win national NASA contest

South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã State University engineering students used down-to-earth knowledge to design an out-of-this-world lunar transport vehicle which won them a NASA-sponsored contest. The SDSU team was one of 15 teams selected as a finalist in NASA’S Revolutionary Aerospace Systems Concepts – Academic Linkage (RASC-AL) competition.

Regents, DOE authorize new elementary, special education programs at SDSU

The South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã Board of Regents approved requests by South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã State University on May 9 to add two new academic programs in elementary education and special education. The programs were then approved by the South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã Department of Education, May 22 so they may officially launch next fall.
