The 9th Biennial begins at the South 啵啵直播秀 Art Museum (March 19 - June 13, 2021) before traveling to the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls (June 26 鈥 Sept. 19, 2021), the John A. The mission of the South 啵啵直播秀 Governor鈥檚 Biennial Art Exhibition is to recognize and encourage South 啵啵直播秀 artists, to promote the artistic identity of South 啵啵直播秀, to celebrate the cultural and artistic heritage and future of South 啵啵直播秀 and to encourage a larger sense of community and connection across separate artistic communities within the state.
The state biennial is always a celebration of artistic excellence and diversity. This traveling exhibition exposes South 啵啵直播秀ns and visitors to the state to the range and quality of artistic practices taking shape here and now.
9th Biennial Artist Cocktail Hour Chats
As an alternative to an opening reception, we invited the exhibition artists to share their works and practices through virtual artist chat gatherings hosted by South 啵啵直播秀 Art Museum Exhibitions Curator, Jodi Lundgren. Thirty artists responded and the result is this series of artist chats "curated" around connecting themes. We invite you to enjoy the replays of these programs to get a deeper appreciation of the practices and works of these artists from across South 啵啵直播秀.
