Lecture to address using vaccines to combat cancer

A renowned researcher from Mayo Clinic will share how vaccines can be used to combat cancer at a free lecture Monday, April 8. The 11th annual Francis Miller Public Lecture in Cancer Research will be delivered by Keith Knutson at 7 p.m. in Herold Crest Room (253C) in the University Student Union on the South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã State University campus. It is sponsored by the College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions. The talk is geared toward the general public, the college reports.

Athletic training advocacy leads to licensure law change

The career possibilities for athletic trainers in South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã are expanding thanks to the efforts of a South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã State University clinical assistant professor. SDSU's Phi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau wins national chapter award

The Phi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau at South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã State University has been named a 2023 Chapter Key à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã recipient by Sigma Theta Tau, an international honor society of nurses. It is the second time the SDSU chapter has received the award, the first being in 2021.
