The Association of Retired Faculty of South ą£ą£Ö±²„Šć State University

Purpose

The purpose is to bring together colleagues who have a common bond of service in the teaching, research, extension and student support responsibilities of South ą£ą£Ö±²„Šć State University. It is intended for the mutual benefit of its members and the University. In general, the objectives of the Association include the encouragement of continuing participation in University activities, service to the university, expression of common concerns and continued interests.

Membership

The term ā€œfacultyā€ in the By-laws is intended to include all professional personnel who retire from South ą£ą£Ö±²„Šć State University. Membership is automatically open to these retirees.

Meetings

The association typically holds a luncheon meeting twice annually, once in the fall and once in the spring. Meetings generally last one and a half hours and include a program and business meeting.

Coffee Sessions

The retired faculty coffee sessions will be at the First Lutheran Church Mission Coffee House from 10-11 a.m. on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month. Everyone is welcome.
