About the Program

The SDSU Teacher Education program prepares professional educators including undergraduate majors in early childhood education, elementary education, special education, family and consumer sciences education, certification programs in secondary teacher education and M.Ed. programs in educational administration and curriculum and Instruction. The education programs in teacher education are accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and the state of South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã. In addition, the Early Childhood Education's Fishback Center for ECE, the university's laboratory school, holds accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
