Janae Jacobsen, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Janae Jacobsen

Janae Jacobsen began her employment with South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã State University Student Health Clinic in 2012.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from SDSU and received her Master of Science in nursing in the family nurse practitioner specialty from SDSU in 2012.

Janae has worked in the health care field for over 14 years. She is board certified through and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

April Schneider, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
April Schneider

April Schneider began her employment with South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã State University Student Health Clinic in fall 2021.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from SDSU and received her Master of Science in nursing in the family nurse practitioner specialty from SDSU in 2018.

April has worked in the health care field for over 24 years. She is board certified through and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Her hobbies include organizing, spending time with family and cooking.

Emergency Room Uses
  • Concern for fracture/broken bone
  • Convulsions, seizures or loss of consciousness
  • Heavy, uncontrollable bleeding
  • Moderate to severe burns
  • Poisoning
  • Pregnancy-related problems
  • Serious head, neck or back injury
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Severe chest pain or difficulty breathing
