Degrees
The department offers Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in civil engineering. Emphasis areas include environmental, geotechnical, structural, transportation and water resources and hydraulic engineering.
Faculty
Our current faculty consists of twelve highly dedicated individuals, eleven of which hold terminal degrees (Ph.D.). The majority of our faculty members are registered professional engineers. In addition to teaching, our faculty advise students through the curriculum, conduct research in their respective fields and across the disciplines and supervise graduate students.
Laboratories and Facilities
The department has experienced substantial addition to its laboratory space, equipment and student-dedicated facilities. Additionally, the department is committed to continuous improvement of these laboratories and facilities in support of education and research.
