Mission

Perform multi-disciplinary research to develop the next generation of Sustainable and Resilient Civil Infrastructure (SARCI) with enhanced behavior, improved serviceability and increased lifetime under extreme natural and manmade hazards and conditions to better serve the public. We integrate our research into education of the next generation workforce for the industry. We foster fruitful collaborations with academia, local and federal governments and agencies and the industry.

Vision

SARCI nested under the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã State University (SDSU) will be recognized as one of the best multi-disciplinary research programs with regional and national impacts.
